Mike,
I talked with Ryan Schnitz about the double intakes and he said it's not the best combo for an all motor set-up but it works well with nitrous applications. I guess trial and error on cam timing is the answer, man I wish this engine/frame design was easier to deal with. I had my engine sitting on the floor when I degreed mine before.

I wouldn't make this mod if you have stock springs. You will spit an exhaust valve for sure.
Process is relatively easy though. Drive the pin out of the end of the Exhaust Cam holding the cam sensor trigger assembly in. Pull the cam sensor trigger assembly out of the end of the cam. There is a tab on the trigger device that needs to be ground off (making the trigger adjustable). Pop the cam plug off the end of the Intake cam. Clean out the inside of the cam really good. Re-drill and pin the sensor into the end of the intake cam. Getting the right allignment / timing is a bit of a trick, but not too bad. Locktite the trigger in place after assembly. good for 9 hp on motor with 1mm oversize exhaust valves. Not sure about stock exhaust valves. I liked the improvement so much, I am probably going to get a bigger set of welded cams over the winter. BTW, you might save yourself time on working on motor if you remove the top motor mounts and leave the bottom motor mount in and just swing the whole motor down for access to the head and cylinders. I never completely pull the motor if I can help it.

No, my 9 hp numbers might be meaningless on a stock motor. I have a 1290 motor with a .060 spacer plate (to drop compression), and a ported head.

Do it. Its free and it makes power. How many people spend hundreds of dollars on things like billet intake trumpets and balancer block offs and other crap that does almost nothing on the dyno. Send me a PM if you get stuck.

That's a lot of spacer.
What hp numbers do you make on motor?

How does the low end feel for street use?
Who does them fat throttle bodies? Are they bored all the
way through or just tappered with stock blades?
