Funny you mention that because I just saw 110 octane at a holiday gas station down the road(MN! I couldn't believe it only $1.54 / gallon! What would of that done to my bike if I would of went with the 110??? From what I understand, if you can't use the extra octane, if will carbon up stuff??? Is this correct???

Nope, Sunoco's here in Detroit all have 94 octane fuel. That's why I thought it was a strange photo, it's what I always run.

I can see 2 things...
1) it says off road use only
2) I cant tell what meathod the octane rating is calculated with..
Now I have travelled all around the US and I havent seen anything higher than 92 so I assume that pump must be near a racetrack?

It's at a racetrack, DIS. There are 2 stations in Daytona that sell 101 for street use.

I'll have to go look and get back to you, I don't run it because it's wasted on my bike. I'll run by there and check it out. I run the 93 that's available everywhere here - Amoco, Texaco, Shell, Citgo, or Hess.
BTW the 110 is (R+M)/2 method, I just liked that picture.

Actually, the feds require that a fuels octane rating in the USA is marked using the R+M/2 method.
No fuel in the USA for road use, will have any other type of rating.
Race gas at the tracks is another story.

All Sunocos in NY State sell 94 octane.
My Dad owns one and of this I am sure as I get Gas there.
And I used to run the convience store.
They actually only have 2 Octanes in their underground tanks.
The pumps mix the two together to form all the octanes in between.
The stations with the newer units sell (87,89,93,94)
And... There is a station down the road
(also a Sunoco) that sells Turbo Blue out of a large tank.
Rules are you can't pump it directly into a vehicle, but you can fill cans.
It's like 104 or 109 octane and about 3.50 a gallon or some shit like dat.

A gas station near a 1/2 mile oval dirt track sells 106 in my neck o the woods. An idiot I used to work for thought it would be kewl to put some avaition fuel in his 12 cylinder Jag. After 160 miles of very "Peppy" performance he needed a new engine due to valve failure.

Just bought gas.... it is (r+m)/2 here so that's what we're talking about...
and I wish I could have found that 93+ octane on my road trips in the US... I remember several times kicking my Ducati that was tuned to run on 94 up in the high sierras cuz all I could get was watered down 87.... it would barely run.. then I remember that little bottle of octane boost leaking all over my sleeping bag.... arghhhhhhh!
