2001 ZX12R MUZZY PCIIIR RACE Map
Anyone have experience with this map. I am running it now I know the timing is quite a bit advanced but the bike seems to scream. Any thoughts?

If that is the map from easyrider's site (Muzzy race map with timing), that is the one I posted questions about. I was curious whether it would safer to pull 1-2 degrees out across the board just to start, and see what it will do for my bike. Also, the fuel map is strange in places, where the fuel is richened, then for 500 - 1000 rpm, it leans out, then goes back to richer for the same throttle position. I was wondering if this map was done on a dyno, where they were trying to get rid of the little dips.

Will do...
You say you are running this map already? How does the map clean up the bike vs. the zero map?
I have only taken out the cat, punched a few holes in the plate in the muffler, and did the filters free mod. I have backfiring, and I am wondering if just the free mods are causing this backfire (should try one of the enhanced maps from dynojet to match this setup).
I have all the cool stuff (exhaust, blockoffs, fan, pc3r) now, and will probably try this map once everything is put on (this next weekend, hopefully!)

These are my mods:
Muzzy full system, stainless TI
PC3R, with Muzzy race map
That's it. I was going to put the new sprockets I ordered on 17/47 but, after the above mods. This damn thing is scary! I rap the throttle on and it just stands up. I get it to come back down hit second rap the throttle again it does the same thing. I have yet to put the K&N's or the sprockets on. I may not do either now. As for any side effects. I have none at this time, no backfires etc.

Re: Back firing
TeamSpeed...The back firing often dissappears after you install the blockoff plates. -ZXtra

now ya got me wondering.
I downloaded that muzzy's map last year but never tried it out. I DID notice that it had lots of timing advance across the board though. It kinda concerned me.
Guess we're gonna have to check it out!!
