Hawk, I got to talking to a couple of the mechanics at Cycle barn about a year ago, they were putting a 1270 kit in a red 12 at the time. They seemed like pretty decent guys. Unfortunately not everyone there is so great. I definetely won't be trying to buy a bike there ever again.

Wow, a 1270 kit?? I'm suprised, I've never run into anyone with a 1270 in WA that I wasn't directly involved in putting it in. ____________

Cowboy - TAW promised me spaces *SIX* months ago! EVERYONE that has ordered wheels from TAW did not receive spacers. The best way to resolve the situation is to order a set of aluminum spacers from Schnitz's and use one of the front spacers on the rear.

oh shit,i was hoping you wouldn't say that Swft.Which spacers did you order from "SCHITZ".I have a hard time dealing with these guys because they have screwed me over more than once.Are they just the zx12 spacers or are they special ones for the Marchesini's that they have.I measured the rear and that spacer needs to be 20.5 mm wide and the stock one for that side is only 16mm wide.Do i order 2 sets of fronts or just one and use one of my stock fronts for the rear.Thanks SWFT.

O.K Update...My dealer called me and I have a bike for sure that is on a boat somewhere in the Pacific, To land anyday in Seattle. Did the 8" arm come in yet? I want to check that out. isn't a 6" more common?

I've had it for a couple weeks now.Its a 0-8 inch arm and its out getting powder coated now.Should be back by the end of next week.If i did it again i think i would go with more of the stock looking arm,like a 6 inch over non-adjustable.I don't think its going to be worth the hassle adjusting back for the street(having to break the chain and such).I'm not into flying into corners anymore(getting old).lol

Swft the stock front ones measure 21.5mm and it looked like i only needed 20.5mm for the rear spacer.Did you just machine yours down or did i take the wrong measurements?
