I was just looking at the ZX-14 they have here

I'm still trying to decide if I like it or hate it.

Yes, I have pictures, many.

I'll get them up in a bit.

Here are a few photos. Sorry for the logos, but I didn't want to see them with a red/white/blue bikeland print on them if I didn't.

Dave, I have a question please. I have been coming to Daytona for a while, but have never seen an area that caters to the sportbike crowd with venders etc. I know there has to be, but where?
Thanks, Greg

You would think there would be more and in the fall it's even harder to find. Bike Week in March usually has a lot of stuff at the speedway. Right now it's all about Harley crap because that's where the money is. The dealers seem to be where it's concentrated but they also cater to v-twins more and more.

There was an attempt to do a sportbike area on city island a few years ago and the promoter lost his ass on the deal. If you're looking for something in particular I can always tell you where to find it.

The only thing I would like to know is why the bottom of the forks, calipers and rims are brown on the ZX14???...It does not match anything!!!

I see that the bottom of the forks are black on that 636, so why couldnt Kawasaki do the same for the 14 with black rims or even color rims matching the body color???

Ohhhhh, Im sorry for saying anything about the color...I should just like it the way it is and keep my mouth shut...

I finally found something I liked on the ZX14! The Bolt on Handle Bars. This means that Gen-Mar will be able to make Cheap Risers for about $100 to $125.00 that raise the Bars 1.5 to 2 inches for cruising

Rear caliper mounts on the bottom and the axel goes in from the clutch side instead of the brake side. Hmmmm, wander what that was about?

And that 636...DAMN those are one of the sexiest bikes every made!

Or you can make your own for about $5.00. And did you notice the throttle cables coming out the top? Makes it real easy to flip it over and have long enough cables to use with those bar risers
This is why in another post I wonder if the topblamp will fit the 12R
