First off I thought I had emailed you already! if not sorry! I do not have those atmospheric sensors, I have the sensors, that are in the air box. and I dont pat myself on the back all I was saying was people help me and I in turn help people! and if you have a problem with that then i guess I wont help you out any in the future.

actually the sensors you are talking about are the same, I see them on my bike! The sensor I have is the one up in the air box! mounted to the cover right next to the air filters! and Like I said I thought I had emailed you directly! come on man all I was trying to do was help. sorry I offered, but then you wont have to worry about that again.

YA...the Pressure Sensor IS quite a bit different??? from the TEMP SENSOR!!!
HIS attitude SUCKED when he FIRST came here "telling us" about his clutch oiling "fix" and how STOO-PED we ALL were for "waisting our money" on the MUZZY CLUTCH KIT (yes...I remember THAT)...
STILL sucks NOW if you ask me...
MIKE is a VERY cool HUMAN and for SURE "would have" done anything he could to help you...
I'm SURE of that!!!
NOBODY is "perfect" though...NOT even MIKE!!! LOL

You couldn't have said it any better Kevin. I remember the deal with the clutch thing as well. Remember we were all sheep. The guy obviously has some intelligence and is trying to do some testing that may benefit us 12 guys and I do thank him for that. But his abrasive attitude has always made me think he was an ass. I can remember when I tried to reason with him on a few things and I never got anywhere with him. It wasn't his technical knowledge I questioned, it was his bullshit attitude. He's probably an ok guy, but damn, he needs to lighten up.

I agree with you also...SMART guy...calling board members (MOST of which ARE smart ALSO) dumb...NOT a good idea...
I don't go "over there" very often anymore but...I HAVE seen his testing post and DO appreciate his input...
Just DON'T come here and F*CK with ANYONE that HAS (and IS) helping people...in a FRIENDLY!!! way...
psycho...MIGHT (probably???) IS ok in person...so don't get TOO bent with me sticking up for Mikey

the only fucked up part is MMs fix worked and muzzys didnt. If you havent put a groove in the clutch release shaft I bet your still eatin clutches muzzy fix or not.

We (I) got 200+ runs on the 1st set of plates with the MUZZY kit and have had the 2nd set (ONLY) in the bike for MONTHS now
That includes John (the owner) riding (racing) the bike now...HE weighs 225lb BEFORE he puts his gear on

I burnt some clutches the first time I went to the track? cleaned them up& exaggerated the fix & burntem again. got pissed grooved the rod cleaned them up and look fine since with a 12 more trips to the track. any body seen a 02 cluth yet? I would like to see their fix.

O.K. Now, I have been trying to contact Mike about this sensor many times w/ no response.
So posted to get his attention, and then he did not remember that he helped me or not. I'm trying to move on this TESTING, and this has not helped.
I got tweaked (slightly) and spouted off a little, If I'm totally out of line....I deserve the HEAT. But am I ?!
I asked a total stranger about a part w/ the intention to pay fairly for it, asked properly, waited for a response, e-mailed to try and contact w/ no response what-so-ever. Then to top it off, Mike does not even remember helping me or not!
I have never dealt w/ anyone directly on this board w/ something like this. Obviously alot of you have dealt w/ each other w/o communication problems. This will just cause me to pause on anything if there is a next time. I know this is not "ebay", but I hoped this would of went better.
Psycho is a Black & White guy and does not play f#*k around w/ the Grey area. I will be Honest and always play it strait and at times it can offend people....I apologise for that.
kcadby- I am not refering to the "Temp-Sensor" for some reason Mike is. I described in detail where the sensor I would like to obtain is in the "parting out" post.
In regards to the "Muzzy Clutch" issue, I don't expect you to "LIKE" my attitude on it, but the FACT is that the Muzzy upgrade does NOT address the oiling issue completely.The clutch will still run dryer than it should (reason for thicker plates)and you dont have to put a "groove" in the puller shaft to get enough oil INSIDE the Hub. Just cross drill the Pusher Shaft.....It's HOLLOW!
Please accept my apology and I will get my sensor elsewhere.

You know being a straight shooter is cool. and it is really no big deal to me, I can see how it looks from your side of the fence, but from my side of the fence, first I did not recieve any email's ? I have been having problems with my @mchsi account, so if they went there that is the reason. and if you sent them to dragbike.com email, I never recieved any of them! I really do believe that I did email you and let you know exactly what I have said above, at first you just asked about sensors? I did not know exactly which one you were talking about? I know I do have what you call the Heat sensor, and that is what I thought you were talking about. so I can see how from your side of the fence I kind of looked like a dick, but from my side I thought the book was closed. Oh well hey Im sure if someone wants to make a movie deal of this, Psycho and I will work out something to give some one the rite's to it??? hmmmm... How about 2 Million each. sounds fair...

I was sort of backing up what Mike said about the temp sensor when I said that...I KNEW what you meant also Psyco...
I ALSO rememberd that you DRILLED the shaft instead of grinding it
I ALSO agree...that even WITH the Muzzy kit...the clutch STILL runs...kinda DRY...but...I have had VERY good luck with it...Better luck than most (ALL???)...
NO HARD FEELINGS here...It's just that we DO (as you found out) back each other up here when someone pisses in the pot...
P.S. If I DID have a sensor??? I WOULD sell it to you (or even let you borrow it)...just to show no hard feelings...sorry I don't...

Hey psyco! How did you drill the pusher rod? It's super hard! Did you have it EDM'd? The local machine shops around here are basically stupid concerning EDM and small jobs. I've went so far as to enquire about buying a portable EDM designed for broken tap/drill removal. It should be able to drill a small hole!
