Nice to watch the A/F while you ride!!
It is even on a green faced LCD! Actually I do not know if I can really watch it, but at least I can record it!, and then watch it after the ride. Just got everything hooked up for this. Later I will get the rest of it hooked up!

Yes I do / did, but only right at the time the bike stumbles or runs less than perfect so I could see if it was rich or lean! learned a lot, Out 50 miles on the bike today but had to come home before the sun set (No headlights)

I started to say Vince that if you're watching any of this stuff you aint goin fast enough YET I don't have time to watch anything except where I'm going, but then again half of that time I've got my eyes closed

You watch and tune so you do not have to look at the gauges when you go fast. When I make a real run, I hit the Record button and down load the results when I get home

vince,
which data logger? what functions are you logging(besides AF & RPM)?
I have found that "watching" the AF numbers as you ride is not only kinda dangerous, but kinda worthless. MUCH better to log it and review the log afterwards (AF jumps around alot), good to smooth the graph just a titch, then make assessment.
I had my bike on Spaz's dyno at Memphis and my LM-1 recorded AF's VERY close to the dyno readings. This is good.
Where did you mount yr AF sensor?? Not alot of options on the BDE SW, eh?

Same as you. I am recording a run but when I am at an RPM and the bike is not running smooth, I will look at it to see what the problem is.
LM-1 and the LM3? I am still hooking it up for the other functions. I do have a EGT in the pipe. I plan
A/F, EGT, RPM, TP, MAP, AIr Temp (I know I have 1 more but have not decided)
Mounting was no choice. I put the Bung in the Mid pipe top tube facing into the fairing and put another hole in the fairing for it to come out of

I'd like to see a pic of yr mounting. Since the BDE SW doesn't have a mid pipe, I mounted mine in the very front of the megaphone immediately aft of the clutch cover. tight fit for my long feet (when on the rear brake).
I have more experience than i ever wanted to acquire on set up of TPS, RPM, MAP, etc.... If you have any difficulties, i MIGHT be able to help. Just ask

Thanks ENT. AFTER the primaries go from 4 to 2 there is a "Mid-Pipe" Between the Headers and the Megaphone. The 2-1 section make a 90 degree turnand for cylinders 3 & 4, I welded the Bung into the pipe where it is headed straight back and put a small hole just ahead of the Oil Pan site hole. I will e-mail you some pictures.

vince,
i received the pix and now i understand. You will be logging AF of cyl 3+4 only, but that oughta give a good idea of how the motor is doing. The BDE SW is so short that bung mounting options are limited.

Amen
I sent the farther back Pics so you could see that I raised the pipe about 1.5 inches higher in the rear. A lot of work to clear the Megaphone because the seat was CONVEX and now it is CONCAVE with the Aluminum cover for cleaning.
