Who would have figured I'd see my ninth birthday. A lot has happened in those nine years. Friends have been made and lost... and died. Cunning... baffling and one day at a time.

That is as serious as it gets and harder than anything except Cigarett adiction! As much as you have seen me Talk about this and that, no one has even seen me talk about adiction. When I stop eating enough to keep my weight and lose some, "THEN" I feel I can talk some trash!

With all the gushing going on, I'll tell you you're not an inspiration to me.
Kind of an anti-inspiration, really. I feel like I can put my body through absolute hell with substances manufactured by people that nobody in their right mind would buy an aspirin from, and not worry a bit.

I can quit any time, hell, that Sherman guy did, what can the problem be?

Our only difference is that I could not and can not quit when I wanted to. That is why I'm a addict and will always be an addict. It won't matter if I'm currently using or not. I've always said that if I was to really inspire people, I wouldn't have let the shit control my life in the first place.

Like the "Big Book" says, If anyone who is showing inability to control his drinking can do the right-about-face and drink like a gentleman, our hats are off to him. I've always said that if one never loses that "control", they will never have a problem and to them, my hat's off to them as well. I envy them.

I never had it. Neither did my brother. The only difference between my brother and I is that he is dead and I am not. At least neither of us are drinking (him) or druggin' (me) right now. Though his method of quitting is more "permanent", I kinda like mine better and I'll take my chances..
