I am also thinking of a set of cams.. what ya think?
I have heard some Zuk guys and gals.. putting either 2 intake cams or 2 exhaust cams in,,, in lieu of one of each!! any feedback on this?!!

Voz, your ECU didn't get damaged did it ?
I'm not so sure a ported head or cams on a stock displacement engine will yield any gains, and will definitely kill some torque.
The answer is 1290 (1287cc)

What kinda change ya think cams (springs, and sprockets) or a ported head will cost

Yep, Sterbator is right on. You will get a lot more bang for your buck out of the 1270 or 1290.

Both are good products IMO. Don't think you could go wrong with either one.

BTW, Mr Hill, if you were to choose to go with Mr Robinson on the gears (of course you may well wind up going with Bear, if Pierre is ready to make them) it's a slow process.
I ordered them back when I put up on the other board the offer if anyone else wanted to get in for quantity discount, and they're only just about ready now, went into heat treat a week or two ago.
