I think the wheelie distance record is over 20 miles or something, which by comparison is JACK SQUAT compared to this:
Kurt Osburn rode a Wheelie on his bicycle from Hollywood, CA (USA) to the Guinness World Records Experience in Orlando, FL. from April 13th to June 25th, 1999. He rode 2,839.6 miles on one wheel setting a new Guinness World Record and becoming the first person in history to ride a bicycle wheelie coast to coast!
Interesting Facts: averaged 50 miles a day with winds in excess of 40 miles per hour, traveled on the 110 Highway, was chased by dogs almost everyday, had 4 flat tires (on the rear tire of course), over 1.8 million pedal revolutions from start to finish.

I don't think a 12 is a good bike for trying to break the wheelie record. I could be wroing, but I don't see any "stunnahs" riding them!!
You might want to stock up on bearings.......

the record for the fastest wheelie is normally attempted by riders of gsxr's,busa's etc there was only one rider this year on a 12R, he had borrowed the bike from a friend on the day and hit 143mph over the km, the 12R is ideal for fast wheelies due to it's poise in the air and power delivery, I believe next years event will see over 150mph, I will try my best to achieve this, we will also have had plenty of practice before next years attempt so we have as good a chance as every one else.

Don't Ghostrider ride some at over 200mph? I've seen the videos.
On his 499hp Busa.

MotoGP riders are easily picking up the front tire at 170 plus...And spinning the back tire at the same time...Leaned over coming out of the corner...

fair point, if you can get valentino to lend us his bike we will be able to have a go at doing that as well lol, we are just everyday guys having a go at a world record, we ride on the road and do the odd track day, but mostly we just mess about pulling fast wheelies etc, moto gp stars wouldn't be interested in doing our thing but we dream about doing theirs, it's a choice thing.

lol I think I am the only rider on a ZX12R entered at the moment so it should be interesting,
some riders reckon it's no good for the attempt but a 12R ran 143mph over the km last time so fook em, I reckon I can crack 150mph on it , lmao at them, I have run over 125mph on a tuned bandit and the 12R is a bit better than that for fast wheelies lol
