CAL-UH-FORN-YA here I come...
I would like to go..but, well call me a siss and all but the 3000 mile commute is kind of long for me. I'll live vicariously through you. Post some good pictures. The ones of the bikes all scratched up was kind of depressing. Nice scenery though.

Realize yesterdays big bail was a different group, on the same road. Now that more info is available, I find out they were just a couple of corners from the stop at the Peak of Mt. Hamilton @ Lick Observatory (~4300ft above San Jose, CA.)
Apparently the first guy slid out on cold tires, followed by two more in a evasive action chain reaction. A couple of other riders came along later, one bailed avoiding the tow truck (pulling the bike up from 100ft. down), & another dropped his off sidestand. So the total was 5 bikes. Luckily no injuries, even the guy who went over the cliff & tumbled 100ft... YIKES!
Our ride today hopefully will suffer much less carnage. I won't have my camera, but maybe someone else will. I'm so excited to go I'm up at 4AM. Jeeze...  Ride report will follow tonight/tomorrow....
Another friend bought his new 2002' ZX12R yesterday & I tried to get him to come along. But he says "after break-in." Shucks I wanted to see it...
