Gunner I think you'd fit it quite nicely at our DG trips. You should definitely put it on your must do list. We're a bunch of crazy bastards but you will have a blast, riding with us, partying with us and of course go carting with us. It's a good thing there is at least 6 months betwen our trips cause we get kicked out of 2 or 3 go cart joints each time we go. LOL
Yeah Rick that foothills run when we mauled that fella will live crystal clear in my memory til the day I pass. Seeing the fright in his eyes with you and I inches off his rear tire after he thought he was king shit was classic. Goddamn that was fun.

OH Yea I love parking on someones rear tire and watching them piss their pants when they look in the mirror. In fact passing them ends the fun. I don't want to see or cause anyone to fall, but it's sure a lot of fun when they have had enough and pull to the side waving you past aint it!

The Cherohala IS the 12Rs playground, it's almost like the 12R was built with that stretch of road in mind. It's a whole different level on the Skyway for sure. Suggestion #1.
Withdraw the stick from your ass and lighten the fuck up. Jesus H. Christ man, your ticker is gonna explode, and if that happens you won't be able to kick my ass in May.

We most certainly don't want to cause anyone to loose it either and we certainly were not at that point with this fella. We were down on the lake side of the Foothills Parkway taking pictures of us doing wheelies and burnouts (being squidly) and this fella stopped and took off his leathers and sat about 100 feet away from us. No wave, no walking over to say hi, nothing. So then when we finish up. Rick heads off up the parkway saying he's going to take a leisurely pace to wait for Big Mike, Harry and I to suit up. While we are suiting up this guy starts to suit up too, looking at me with a smug look while getting on his brand spanking new GSXR1000. I figure at this point one of three things is happening. Either he wants to ride with us and will join up with us when we leave or he is a local in which fact it's a pretty good bet that he'll blow by us and we won't ever see him again (think of Lucky or Cuz) or he is a guy who thinks he's fast. So the three of us set off after Rick and sure enough he was riding a meelow pace waiting for us so we fell in behind him and were running a decent pace nothing real fast as it was our last ride of the trip. So we hit a straight and here this fella comes racing by us. Immediately Rick and hit it to go after him. By the third turn we were on him and shadowed him for a bit showing him that the 12 indeed is a machine not to be taken lightly as my brother Rick has pointed out. Then Rick flew past him coming out of a left hander and I followed coming out of the next right. I wanted to go by him with Rick but in the interest of not endangering this fella I waited.
You had to be there to really get the jist of it, but it was awesome handing this guy a cup of the shut the fuck up. Now Rick and Harry and I set a good pace and we get along the road OK but we are quite smart enough to realize that there are many many many riders much faster than we are, and to that I say great, if you are faster than me please let me keep you in sight long enough so I can try to learn from you.

Yea I've had a moment or two on the Skyway where I said Uh Oh now you've done it!!!! That's why I love my 014s and my 12R so much! The three of us together are a hard force to deal with. I did get the chance to ride a 10R last week and for the Gap it would rock, but I felt it was a little unsteady at extream high speeds. It was very twitchy feeling to me. The 12 feels like a rock compared to it. Although a little seat time might make a man see thing a lot differently because the 12 felt twitchy compared to the ZX11to me at first as well.

Gunner that's the cool thing about the cats I ride with, meaning Chris, Harry and Mike. we could give a fuck less about impressing anyone really. We just love to ride, and we ride within our limits. The only reason I lead the attack on the guy on the Foothills was just the whole way he went about stalking us, not to mention he was an unsociable prick. (prolly one of 238's relatives ) If you are faster than us that's cool, cause like Chris said, we'll follow you and mimic your lines and see what we can learn. If you are slower than us, then maybe we can show you a thing or 3 to bring you up to speed. It's a win win situation when you eliminate the ego tripping and don't get into pissing contest about who's faster. We all know that every dog has his day.
In all honesty if you look at it on a whole, we actually ride an insane pace when you factor in that we are on public roads and subject to the wrath of "Johnny Law". Something that me and my transvestite buddy from Motown know about oh to well. I hope you can make it to an event gunner, you'll have a blast.

Dan and Zach. Mark's time with the 12R was when I was recovering from a divorce in 99. I spent the better part of 5 years BROKE! I should still know Mark but I don't. It seems everybody else I know does. I haven't ever met Chad either. He's never around when I am. It was Zach's 10R that I was riding last week. That Bitch will roll!!!!!!!!!!

Well if you know Zach and Mark (he moved to NC you know) then you can certainly ask them about our crazy asses. Zach is a good ol boy who helps us at the dealership all the time. Every trip we always go Alcoa to say hi to him and buy some stuff. Not to mention how he quickly got me a new rearset after my Kickstand "incident".
No we don't live in Townsend, we stay at the cabins on the river over there, along with black bears we found out in May.
Tizzy=Hug Sounds like he may need that Rick, or maybe a good hour of Barney, NO WAIT don't do that, he'll really get wound up then.
