Their roots are specially designed to get this water from the dirt that they're planted in. The get many vital minerals from the same dirt at the same time. It's small wonder of the world how this works so well. The roots will branch out and search for these minerals much like sportbikes will do searching for next model years pics from the internet. They both need this to survive.
