Do they get worn out?Mine are making a loud rattle.Cures?

They can get worn out. But it's really hard to judge until they actually break from being too tight. If they are loose, it will be obvious. Akropovic uses a rubber sleeve on their springs to prevent the rattling sound. Some guys I know put a wrap of heat tape around the spring if it rattles and/or hits the pipe.

I safety wire mine on the Tsukigi pipe (ZRX), as they keep abandoning ship.

The safety wire seems to have stopped the noise.

The Akro on the Ninja is quiet...
