Turbo 12s strutting their stuff in the UK
Just to let you guys know that the SuperStreetbike series for 2005 was won by Steve Venables on a Turbo 12.
The fastest bike in the UK is a now a turbo 12 owned by Mike Burman at 231mph in just over a mile.
Vanishingly few people have chosen to raise themselves above the herd and develop a 12 to take on the big turbo Busas. The few who have done so are now kicking arse big style. Good to see. Hopefully more will follow suit.
And the first Ultimate Streetbike Challenge in the UK (pipes, gearing etc, no engine work - i.e. road bike trim) was won by a 2000 12R. This was a three stage event.................top speed, 1/4 mile and dyno.
