Rode the green 12 today and...
Came walking out of the bank, and there parked under a tree, was the hottest looking bike
I've ever seen...!!!
I HAD TO CHECK IT OUT>>> and so did a lot of other people....
As I walked up to it EVERYTHING seemed balanced, striking lines, awesomely bold,
it just looked right.... I'm thinking "Holy shit, I want his thing...!!!" It was like ART...
So I took a wide circle around it... just absorbing everything... I didn't want to miss any
part of this bike!!! I noticed small things that were really trick, and wondered, who came
up with this idea???
Anyway, I listened to everyone talk about it for awhile, and then finally, I decided I couldn't
take it anymore..!!!
I HAD TO SIT ON IT!!!!! 
Damn... can I do this??? And the key was in it...!!! That's it... I wanted to hear it run...
so yep, I turned the key and fired it up!!!! Holy cow... what a beast!!!!!!
I decided I NEEDED TO RIDE IT...!!!!!
I pulled in the clutch and dropped it in gear... and rode off.... ON MY 12...
Sometimes because we get used to something, we forget how awesome it really is....
I honestly have never seen a bike I like better than my 12... and every once in awhile I
need to be reminded that it's MINE and I like it!!!! And nothing better is out there yet...
So instead of searching all the time... I think I'm going to just really enjoy what I have....

Try looking at your bike like it's still in the showroom and it's not yours... betcha want it!!!!

Jere I love my 12R and I treat it with the love it deserves. I just spent a big part of today striping and painting my fairing stay RED!!!!! Hell YA RED!!!! I've been adding little touches of red to the paint work and it really looks good with the silver. That small change to the fairing stay really wakes up all that black down inside the fairing. OH! and all that carbon didn't hurt either. I took all that dull ass Hans carbon and shot 3 coats of clear on it. Now it looks like it should.
Yes the 12 is one bad ass machine and I love mine. Hell, I love it so much I got it a brother. I just couldn't stand seeing a great bike go to a bad home. It is for sale though to a good home. Got to make some room for something new. But, a 12R will always be present at my address.

Ride my green one EVERY DAY. I know exactly what you mean, Jere. It demands respect, it looks fast, looks even meaner when my partner puts his fat assed buza next to it. I grin everytime I start it. Such a Violent sound and attention getter....I just Love it, and it "Brings the wood." I don't think I could Ever part with it--an All-Time, all-around perfect machine(minus the little quirks)

Not to mention that a whole bunch of green ones sure makes it hard for the cops
to pick out who did the wheelie.... unless of course, WE ALL ARE...!!!!!
Good thing for Bltiz, and other guys that ride RED ones... always at the back picking up
the rear... Like a bunch of big 'ol TAIL LIGHTS!!!!!
Somebody needs to explain that GREEN MEANS GO, and RED MEANS STOP..!!!!

When Trenace says he's going to get a few parts for his 12 the only thing left stock is the muffler bearings

How much can you spend on a 12??? Which begs the question... who spent the most
$$$ on a 12, and how much was it...??? I know one guy that says he spent $8k on his
paint job alone!!!

Jere...........Bill isn't keeping track and for good reason. He might get sick if he did. I hope he don't start either or he may stop before he gets those ceramic muffler bearings
I vote that Trenace has the ultimate 12R as far as top of the line parts goes. Now I'm certain that many others have motors that have more power. But NO WAY PEROID will they come close to Bill's bike for trick shit!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont think you are a real enthusiest if you dont stare at your own bike from time to time. I put my vote in for three bikes as the best looking 12's I have seen. Mark Day's(LUCKY), Roger Twito's, Jim Wolkins(HellsDarkLord). Of cource I would like to put mine in there somewhere but I am going to take the humble route on that. I wish I knew how to post pics cause I got some of all three. Went to the big bike shootout yesterday and the quickest non modified bike was guess what.........a ZX12R. The only one there in a sea of busa's, gotta love that!

I get the same way about my bikes. Especially whan I get the new bike itch. Just go out and stare at mine and let the itch subside. I'm about to do my 12 in green again. With '01 decals this time, black some stuff out. All cosmetic. Then redo the P40 fighter bodywork I trashed at DG8 a friggin year ago. Cant believe I've let her sit this long. Ah well, just gave me time to rekindle the infatuation with the ZRX. Black '00. The other most beautiful bike ever made.
Hey Brett, You guys coming to Indy in Feb? PM me yer number again. Got a paint question for ya.
