I don't know what to say.
Jerry was a great guy, I spoke with him a handful of times helping him locate the new 12 he had purchased this summer. He came down to Lafayette from Chicago to check one out but I was working and didn't get to meet him face to face.
Rest in Peace Jer.
You will be missed.

Those dudes must have influenced a ton of people! The outpouring and representing on the boards is just out of this world. A toast to them and their well lived lives. Condolensces to their families and friends and all who will miss them but guys like that live on in all the people they helped and entertained and befriended, over and over, forever.

I read a post from motobeagle not long ago about being sure to "gear up" when you ride.
(on zx12.org)
Sad how we can be here writing to each other and the next second, be gone forever.
I will never come to terms with death... it's so final, I can't comprehend it.. Reading his old
posts makes it seem like he's still here.
Godspeed Jerry...

Man, This one is hard to swallow.
Although I never met him in person, MB was a helluva nice guy and knew his bikes well. We were just talking in PM about some of the mods he did to his '05 a couple weeks ago.

I read the article, and it saddens me to know that none of them had on helmets...
even though that wasn't the cause of death, it might have helped them, who knows.
Motobeagle always professed wearing gear... what happened??? Either way it won't
bring them back... I hope Hugo can explain what happened when he's up for it...

There is a benefit account that has been set up for them on the BlackBird site.
Here is the link, but its unaccessible right now due the elsewhere mentioned server overload:

I just read through MB's August 19th post again about the track day at Putnam. The thread is pure MB and made me smile when I re-read it.
