1. there was a flash video posted a year or 2 ago, complete with all the trimmings, that sparked this whole argument off last year. the home website for that flash ahd more information on it, and none of it really coincided with any reasonable fact
2. the picture posted here in this thread is so bad that it is worthless to make any conclusions from
3. when something like that happens, most people will jump in and help as much as possible. by the time hte pentagon was hit they had already started grounding flights, and monitoring air traffic. it would be nothing to get him out of there if the need was there. was he supposed to just leave and let his co-workers possibly die due to lack of rapid efforts to free them? i would more condemn a person for walking away from something like that than i would condemn them for being that high in the chain of command and risking themselves to deal with a problem of that magnitude. PLUS: when the boss tells you to f__ off, what do you do? tackle him? As much as people demonize rumsfield, he is one of those 'get the job done regardless of the personal risk' types.

In Northern California we have been going thru the higest gas prices in the country for two years now, yes $3.00 per gallon but let me tell you what it really is ( Brain Washing) they will continue to raise the prices until someone will start screaming lets for sake of argument say the price is now $2.75 we all start screaming gas prices start dropping take into account about 10 times slower than then then it took them to get to $2.75 They finally get to around lets say $2.45 and we all go WOW!! gas has finally come down I thought it would never stop going up. Now they have you conditioned to accept the fact that gas is at $2.45 so the next time "they" decide to start rising the price of crude it will get to say $3.25 and we will again start screaming and they will slowly back off to $2.75 and on- and - on-on-on and on.

and unless we up our own production and build a means of refining more gasoline, it'll never improve. as costs of living and doing business in america continue to rise, the prices will creep upwards due to high supply, mediocre demand, and rising business costs.
prices always drop in the fall when the summertime travel glut is over. it's happened since i can remember, and it's risen slowly with inflation over the years. when i started buying gas in '95 in hawai'i i was astonished at 1.70 a gallon. it was 1:20 in virginia. state tax in hawai'i was 50 cents more per gallon.....
granted 2.50 a gallon now is a bit more than inflation, but the light crude demand is screaming up and our dependance on that light crude is killing us right now.
but then you ahve to remember, we in america STILL pay a LOT less than almost every other country on earth....and we are the first to cry over the cost of fuel....

As I said in one of the posts in that thread, we know all that we will ever know (or be allowed to know) about that crash. Question it or debates as we would like, the "truths" we assign to it will always be nothing more than unfounded speculation.

Okay Slug, here I go...
1. Why would the media, who hates Bush and the whole republican presence in DC with a deadly passion, CONTINUE to cover up for that administration?
1) Every company and organization is CONTROLED by men. These men are generally in association with other men that function and operate in the same circles or levels that they operate. Some industries have a great impact on the CONTROL of societies and cultures. I would include the MEDIA, MILITARY, BANKING, ENERGY, DRUG and FOOD. (probably more) However, these areas CONTROL the lives of the citizen, but is CONTROLED by very small groups of men or "the players". These players do not operate by the rules of the people. They manipulate the rules of the people to serve the game of the players. In that, you hopefully have noticed that there truly is NO DIFFERENCE between Republicans or Democrats. They all are playing in the same game at the voters expense. Now occassionally you have some players that do play by the rules. These folks are quickly eliminated or removed from a position of power, through a process of disassembly. Their reputations and credibility are destroy piece by piece till they are not taken seriously. The hate for Bush that you say, (not sure which radio or TVchannel you are listening to?? but okay) This hate is okay and fine by the players, as it gives the people a "SENSE" of balance. However, the players that own the MEDIA are playing the game. In this, all the media reports to someone. All the news stories that are run are approved prior to broadcast. The information and news stories that "we the people" recieve is HIGHLY SENSORED!!! and very often TWISTED. (For simplicity, how many articles or news stories are accurate about sportbikes and their riders. The police is painted as so innocent while the bikers are all criminals on the run!!!) If you don't believe that, then just ask your marine friends as to how many are actually dying and losing limbs vs how many are expressed through the media. Remember the up roar and subsequent "BANNING" of ANY PICTURES of the caskets coming home. The information was supressed by the players. Because Bush does not own the media, but they do all work together. In this, the information about and around the events of 911 is out there, but to speak out is to be crucified, loose your job as a reporter, or just to be called a moron. Believe me, I am completely sickened by the current state of affairs. There is something called "able danger" currently being expressed. In that, there is a huge movement to discredit those steping forward. If we would listen to the little people sometimes then maybe just maybe...... however, to step forward out of line makes you an easy target of the players that like the game as it is. That was the US real problem with Bin Laden, Saadam, Noreiga, Taliban etc. The US put these people in power, and then when they decided to play by their own rules, we re-label them as terrorist and only tell HALF of the story. There is an old saying,,,,,,,"Just follow the money home" in other words, who is making money from the situation that is causing the death of our soldiers?!?!

Remember, Iraq was not considered even in association with Al-Queda, but we invaded on false charges of WMD. But, remember, they had EVIDENCE that was even presented to the U.N. At what point does evidence turn into incomplete intelligence? Substance vs Concept On top of the the incomplete intelligence that is translated into a major BLOOD BATH!!! The BLOOD IS STILL RUNNING based on decision made for what?! Our safety??? Oh yeah, it was to save the Iraquis from Sadaam. More are dead and dying now (including us) than if he was still in power. At the same time since 2001 here in my area the ILLEGAL residents have more than tripled in numbers. But our troops are in Iraq and not on the border?!?!?! Then some folks on here call me crazy..... I am just sick of the BS! These gas prices are just an experiment in tolerance, no different than in the 70's just like posted above. We don't need more refineries or more oil. I don't use any more gas than I did two years ago. Do any of you?!?! Our economy is NOT GROWING to use more oil and then Last year oil company record profits were reported......hmmm Shouldn't profits be down with less oil available?!?! In Alice in Wonderland a great question is ask.......... "How deep does the Rabbit Hole Go???" We may not know how deep, but you cannot deny that a hole does not exist.
I believe I am best served at this point to make this my last post in this thread. May God bless everyone and reveal that his love through Jesus is what is important, as the ship has left the dock. (If you understand then I will see you soon)
