Ra,
I don't even know where to start man....that was bizzare and disturbing. Let me guess, you are an Art Bell/George Noory fan, right? Maybe Oliver Stone could make sense of that post, but I couldn't..
That sounded like a regurgitation of every conspiracy theory ever put forward, but somehow mixed up and thown together into one incomprehensible theory of everything. Try thinking it through with a bit of logic instead of spouting sound bites you have heard on Air America,.

Well, while most of it I cannot agree with, I do agree with you on one point, Ra: oil doesn't come from dead dinosaurs. Though that common incorrect belief is not from conspiracy, but simply lack of knowledge and/or incorrect deductions and assumptions.

But it's an alarming departure from reality to be claiming or suggesting things such as that Flight 77 did not strike the Pentagon, that there was some American conspiracy regarding or even causing the deaths and destruction at the WTC on 9/11, etc. That is whacked, very contrafactual, and so far as I can tell can only be held because someone, for some reason, WANTS to believe such contrafactual things for whatever reason.

And no I am not willing to debate 9/11... first especially not on the ZX-12R technical forum where it's out of place; second because the info is all out there already for you and everyone and I KNOW you are smart and skilled enough to find it; third because CR asked specifically that politics not be introduced in this thread; and fourth because this is not my first time at this particular rodeo and I have found that those who espouse these things are just hell-bent to continue believing their ideology of "America is to blame" or "Bush (or Cheney or Halliburton) is to blame, bin Laden is innocent, there is no Islamic jihad against 'the infidels,' it's a lie to make money for Big Oil." (Or whatever.) Nothing can make a difference to their fixation, most certainly not their lack of proof for their bizarre claims nor the many strong refutations that are already available, in-depth.

So there is nothing to be gained from supplying reason and facts to answer your charges or implications. I can't see it making a difference to you. You are almost certainly aware of the facts anyway, but choose to substitute these bizarre conspiracy theories for them in this particular matter.

Each can do their own Web and other news search on it, let's just leave it at that....

Trenance, you obviously are a Shawn Hennedy fan. I agree with you in that the truth about ALL of this is out there.

CR thread is about the refusing to accept what we are being served!

These prices are a direct result of current policy. This policy includes the stamp of approval by BOTH parties. Trenance, I do feel that you are also a smart guy. However, you respond quite nieve, and that doesn't seem like you could be that nieve. Are you saying that the cause for the rolling blackouts were real? Are you saying that you have pictures of the "plane" that hit the pentagon??? PM me if you have pictures of the plane parts that didn't fit in the 16ft x 14ft hole in the wall. Thanks!!!

Actually I do like his show, though I rarely get to listen. It's not so much that feel that "sympatico" with him personally, really he's a very different kind of guy than I'm used to though he seems a very decent sort, but because he's about the only show that actually generates news instead of just yakking about it. What I mean is, he actually interviews the people in the news like Senators and so forth from both sides, so when you miss his show (as I usually do) you miss some news that isn't necessarily anywhere else.

Though I suspect you meant the Sean Hannity remark as some sort of knock? If so, whatever...

You can call my response in the previous post "naive" if you want, but what they are is, informed and rational. But fair enough for you to do so, since my post probably sort of implied that your conspiracy theories are "tinfoil," though I tried to avoid actually saying that. LOL!

It's all good.

If you really seriously want to look into whether a plane hit the Pentagon or not I can dig up links for you easily, and facts such as how when for example a B-25 hit the Empire State building it also put a hole only where the fuselage was, the wings failing to do damage, and the Empire State Building had no deliberate reinforcement against attacks while the Pentagon had just gotten a major structural upgrade for that purpose (though the intent was to make it able to survive bomb blasts, not fuel-laden jet aircraft.) Nothing new to wings not tending to penetrate strong buildings, it's just how it is. Your choice for PM or on the board, maybe if you would like it on the board we ought to start a new thread rather than keep it on the ZX-12R part?

If my personal opinion that those espousing the views you have are as a rule just bound and determined to do so, so it's impossible to discuss, the facts not mattering, the views being held in spite of the facts, is wrong in your case I apologize. But are you sure you would be just as happy having a conclusion that it was just as pretty much everyone else knows it to be, or is it more satisfying somehow to believe the conspiracy theory?

That is a serious question, probably not easy to answer, nor one that anyone can really insist anyone but themselves try to answer. Could very well be of key relevance though.

build refineries, drill for oil (which is more vegetation than recycled dinosaurs), and pursue alternative sources of power. hydrogen is NOT a viable alternative. quit wasting money there.

national geographic had an excelent article (and i tend to disagree with their socialist agenda most of the time) on alternative energy.

to make enough power to light a certain city (can';t remember which), i think they said that nuclear: 2 square miles. wind: 75 square miles, and solar: 1500 square miles (these numbers are not exactly fromthe article, i don't ahve the magazine in front of me. however you can check them out if you have access to the magazines)

we need to get away from 157687234685 boutique fuel blends and just have a set standard.

i was in colorado at a pump in july, that had 5 choices of fuel grades.

soo 5 different blends RIGHT THERE. how much more $$$ does it cost to create and pump and deliver all those blends?

(oh i forgot, they all come out of the same truck right?)

PS the grass away from the fire won't burn unles it spreads to it. we had molten aluminum 10 ft away from grass at our factory in tennessee and it never once burned......there are these crazy inventions called fire trucks that prolly had the grass wet enough that it was fairly well protected...

Use the futures markets to be long crude or unleaded maybe even heating oil. Get a position on and I guarantee you the price will come down immediately. Proper positioned you too could lose a ton of money with futures!

On a jumbo plane, that was prepped to be transcontinental, it would have thousands of pounds of jet fuel. The wings are WAY wider than the damage and jet fuel would have "WET" the grass before the fire trucks. There would have been jet fuel "splashed" completedly around the crash site and burning VERY HOT! It is interesting that EVERY and I mean EVERY other jumbo jet airliner crash EVER has plenty of wreckage as they recover the "black box" even after the fire. But, in this case people wish to believe that it ALL just melted....

Trenance you made a wonderful statement about the views that people hold. Actually looking at that picture and ALL the pics before the roof fell, and really absorbing the ramifications is difficult for some. Because it says that the president and the WHOLE government is LYING to the people about alot of issues. I, as should be clear, do not believe what TV news says in total and not much in part. No more than I believe the local governments always crying about they don't have enough money so raise taxes and give more people traffic violations. Then the next day we hear about millions having been "wasted" through some stupid contract or project. The levels of corruption for money is beginning to turn the stomachs of the common citizen at this point.

Stating a lie about the cause of the pentagon damage is just one small lie, as it all is related to the gas prices and loss of personal freedoms through the patriot act. Trenance, I am sure that you are not believing everything that is spoon feed to us throught the media. But understand this, there are people that still say that the Germans did not kill Jews, and that is a Jewish lie. They rationalize the photos just as I believe some are with the above photo. There are too many examples of mass manipulation to quote, this is why to believe without critical questioning is nieve(did i spell it right?). Currently, for many, the truths around this current global political climate undermines their feeling of personal security and faith in the system around us and that is too much for them handle. However, others process the same revelations differently and it produces what we called and recognized as citizens for change. Willing to address the harder issues and call a spade a spade.

Please understand that I am not saying that there is not major problems in the world, nor am I saying that we have no enemies(cause the US has made plenty over the years). But, I am saying that what is happening is not all as it appears. I will end at this, there is a major problem when we have a "war on terror" yet the border patrols are being fired at the same time the TV and government "SAYS" it is looking and needing help for border patrols and the state is in a state of emergency?!?! Someone is lying!!! We have been in the "war on terror" for 4 years and the borders are still open, but to get in a movie theater we need 5 pieces of ID..........unless we are not a citizen of the US.

No you didn't spell it right.

11:11 Energies coming off due to massive spec profit taking, focusing on the decline in demand rather than the inventory data.

11:10 OPEC members will boost capacity of better-quality oil over the next 18 months with capacity seen rising by 2.1-mbpd during 2005 and 2006. The breakdown will be 49% light, 43% medium and 8% heavy. Total production capacity will probably average 33.4-mbpd next year, up 710,000-bpd from this year. Spare capacity should be about 10% of the total next year.

10:30 Oil Inventory data—very bullish for gasoline, also for crude to a lesser degree

DOE

Crude: +0.300 million barrels

Distillate: +1.2 million barrels

Gasoline: -5.0 million barrels

API

Crude: -1.4 million barrels

Distillate: +2.8 million barrels

Gasoline: -5.1 million barrels

10:12 API reports US oil demand fell 3% on year in July the largest year-on-year decline in 3-1/2 years. Gasoline demand fell 0.8% and demand for residual fuel declined because of fuel switching due to high prices. US oil production fell to 5.18-mbpd in July, down 4.2% from June, the fifth monthly decline this year and the steepest decline on a percentage basis since last September when Ivan disrupted the Gulf.

Yes, but I'm pretty sure they don't pay income tax in the UK or any European country. They use the gas money to pay for the roads. It's called a user fee. If you use the roads you pay for the up keep with the gas money.

In the states we pay income tax to pay for the things like roads and the military and pretty much everything. That is why gas is cheaper here.

It's comparing apples to oranges really.

SPEAKING of income taxes...

get the US Government out of our paychecks, and support HR25

http://www.fairtax.org/

quick rundown: remove IRS, remove all payroll taxes, remove all income taxes.
get 100% of yourp aycheck
prebate all taxes expected to be paid per month for essnetials of life based on household size (family of four gets about 450/month back)
remove all embedded taxes and costs of tax compliance from consumer goods, resulting in about 22% reduction in NEW GOODS costs.
impose an inclusive 23% tax on all NEW GOODS and Services.
USA becomes a tax haven for the world's businesses, instead of a tax hellhole that drives them out to europe. (any idea why daimler-chrysler does NOT have Corporate HQ in the USA? taxes that's why...)

end price is about the same, but you get taxes from everyone that purchases, not just the ones that choose to report their income.

are there problems? sure some may try to evade the taxes. but it's estimated that we lose BILLIONS of dollars a year in incokme tax revenue by evasion (legal and illegal)

make sure your congressman is on board with HR25.
easy read on the subject "The Fairtax Book", currently #1 on NY Times bestseller list

this is quick and dirty, but after reading the bill and the book, it's 10000 times simpler than the current code, AND it is totally VOLUNTARY. if you want to pay taxes then you can make that choice. but no one is forcing you to pay taxes on what is required to live.
