.org Refugees

Not meaning to harp on the fact that .org has been down for over a week now, but I had a friends agreement with Navpreet on that site (who lives in India and is a fairly new member) to ship him a boatload of parts that he needs and unfortunately all my contact info for him is in my PM box there.

Did Navpreet email anybody on .org that I might be able to get an email addy from?

Navpreet - If you happen to come to this site, please PM me and we'll get everything straightened out. Sorry.

Edit: (P.S. - Navpreet its Blitz).

Voz, parts in India are almost impossible to get through normal venues.

Navpreet just needs the stuff we all do - Pit Bulls, oil filters, complete set of plastic (lol - me, not him).

I met Navpreet on .org about 6 months ago. He paid essentially $25K U.S. for his 12 in India.

That is a man that loves the 12. A brother of mine without question.

Unfortunately, he had a whole shopping list of stuff he needs, which I was going to send him starting last Sunday but not only can I not do that, I can't reach him to tell him I can't.

Not too happy about that right now....

All is well again in India. :-)

I just spoke with Navpreet on the phone in India - the communication channels are now open again.

If you guys see a new member here register/post under the name of "Navpreet", check it out.

He's a great guy and when you understand that he paid about $25K U.S. (after customs, tariffs, etc..) to own a zx-12r in India - well, you gotta love a guy like that.

As I said towards the top of this thread, parts are outrageously expensive (oil filters $30 U.S. a piece, etc.. Basically 2.25 X over what we pay here in NA ) and many parts he can not even get except in repro form (crap).

In the relatively short time I have known Navpreet, I have gained a whole new appreciation for being able to buy parts on a whim here in North America even if I bitch about the cost.

It is awesome for sure what he has overcome.

He is also dedicated to finding the best information he can and doing the best he can with his bike. In the face of the obstacles he's confronted with, one has to admire that. I am pretty convinced he is going to have the fastest and best streetbike in India by the time he is done!
