00 Cowl/Ram Air vs 02+ Cowl Ram Air

This was asked on another board. I don't know the answer, but I figured one of you would know.
There's actually two questions here:

Will the front cowling (nose piece) from a '03 or newer
ZX12-R fit on a 00 ZX-12R?

I'm not sure if this was asked but I'd like to change the air intake in particular.

Thx in advance!

You have to change the uppercowling to make it fit and I'm assuming the ram air tubes on back as well.

You have to change,

Upper Fairing
Headlight
Upper Fairing Bracket
Snorkel
City Light
Lowers

Its not a cheap or easy changeover..

The Intake Pressure Sensor will "see" a difference in overall pressure. The ECU will not have the Algorithms to account for the pressure differences.

Remember, the Intake "Tubes" are the same size as the 00' on the 02'.

With a larger intake mouth square area, the pressure will drop with an increase of speed as the air moves through the Tubes in the frame.

Think of the "Tuning " Implications!
