Problem Resolved (Thanks I needed that)
I Had planed to finsih up my bike this Sunday when it is cooler and then go to Virginia to get some Dyno Tuning. T then called Bergie's Least favorite person only to find that the Building has been sold and they have to move and the new place has no room for the DYNO!
So now, I have to go to Cockeysville and pay a lot more money than planned at a Time I had not planned also. They do good work, but just more junk to deal with! I hate to need to convince people to set my bike up at 12.8 as opposed to 13.2 (Just things like that!)

if you are spraying alot of Nitrous...Vincent...You had better set it up alot richer than that when on the spray....... 12.8 will go way lean when on spray...say around 100hp or more
I would say 11.7 on the spray..... 150 shot...will be plenty safe and live awhile...
just my 2 cents

Thanks Dr. Doug, yours is worth a lot more than .02 or even .25
Actually I have a wet system with a bypass fuel regulator and the problem is actually going rich because the bottle pressure starts to drop and the fuel stays the same.

run a piggy back bottle to aid in keeping up the bottle pressure during the maxton run...such as a 1lb bottle or even better a 2lb bottle. Thats why most Promod bikes run the 5lb bottles.....in dragracing

The 5 pound Bottle "IS" What I am Up to Next! Just hard to stay ahead of some people I also have a heater that I use prior to the run to get the pressure up to 1,000 so that I am slightly lean to begin with and slightly rich at the end of the run where it is working the hardest.

I just spent "ALL" Day on the Dyno. For some strange reason, every Cell was very lean and as Both DOugs Know, it takes a while to remap from "ZERO"!
I was surprised because I felt that the Muzzy pump would have made it richer but maybe my Bypass Regulator and mod made it leaner.
The Bypass did what it was supposed to "NO LEAN Spikes period" Still not dialed in perfect but I have about 270 Clean HP and know how to get about 20 to 30 more and not even be close to trouble. The EGT was in the mid to high 1,200 degrees and only the last run did it hit 1,300 so I have a little more to go before I hit 1,350 degrees which is (As far as i know) still in the safe zone)
Apology to Doug Ray because I saw what he saw but on another bike. "7" Hp more by being lean at 14 to 1 as opposed to 13.5 or 13.1 to 1. I had to see this for myself but I saw it on my own bike!

I think the point is you're better off safe (13.1-5:1) vs lean and gaining +7hp

AMEN Bergie
I rather have 160 HP that I can duplicate over and over and hit the Bottle for 280 to 310 HP than have 167 HP and over the edge. I gave up 20 HP to gain 100 (150 vs the 50 Shot). Remember Old people are a lot more conservative than the young who will build and engine to the edge 210 HP and then Spray 100 more

True. Good way of comparing 310 HP in two different methods of getting there.
