The wildman has awaken (again)!!!!

So Superman decides to go for a spin on the ZX-12 that was so kindly donated to him. I will admit I was a little unsure of what to expect as I am coming from a Hayabusa and have been very loyal to it (never backing down from an arguement or chance to bash someone elses bike).

So I take my time getting a feel for it as I follow zx23rr through the back country roads as I haven't been riding street for 2 years now. Within 20 minutes I pass zx23rr on the back wheel at an estimated 160 km. As he catches up to me I can see him shaking his head at me with a smile on his face. The poor bastard knows what hes in for now.

Within another 30 minutes hes clocking me at 198 kms (cause he hause the little yellow box) and I'm running into the usual problem of running out of road. So we called it a day and went our own ways.

2 days later Superman finds himself up against a 2005 R1 and a 97 TL1000s racing down the freeway. I'm just following the pair as they weave in and out of traffic. For a brief moment traffic clears up and the 2 bikes spread apart (poor bastards). As I go by them in 3rd the guy on the R1 says he was doing around 180 kms as my front wheel started to lift off the ground. He chased me for around a km and a half before setting the front wheel down. Alas, I lose 2 more guys that do not wish to ride with me anymore. Riding the 12 is so lonely sometimes. No one wants to play.

But my opinion of the 12 has definately changed. I love the Busa but the 12 I find is a much better all around bike. Way better in the twisties, a much better wheely bike. Still has a totally different powerband than the Busa. The Busa starts at a lower rpm so I'm forced to change my riding style a bit. I find the seat on the 12 unbelievably uncomfortable. I'm not sure if its just my body out of shape and not used to riding or the bike. But when I give you part 2 to this story in a couple of days I'll let you know.

Hey Superman, I'm chasing you on a wounded 11 - hint - hint - that said, this reminds me of that 50's song "HOT ROD LINCOLN" - hey mister, how do I get this thing out of second gear??? LMFAO!

As for the seat being uncomfortable, what a candy ass !!!!!!

Supe, how much time you spending in the seat on that thing anyways? Most the time, just standing on the pegs, right? And good to have you back!
