Episode 52: NAPA Drag Bike 1
It's off to drag-racing school in New Jersey for the OCC guys, as they prepare to build a drag bike for NAPA. And this bike will be unlike any other: It'll have a straight speed of 140 mph, and will be used in actual races on the quarter-mile drag track. Also out of the ordinary is Mike, who stops his loafing around and gets a new title at OCC after Mike Campo quits.

Yeah, what a joke. They weren't comfortable wiping their own asses without first consulting that guy, lol.

Basically, they coulda just cut that notch in the frame... not like it made enough power to stress it that much to be concerned with the structural integrity, lol.

A great American (Clint Eastwood) once said "Every man has to know his limitations"! AT least they know theirs!! I liked the deal with the front end where they had it as high as it would go (Very low and short for them) and then it is lowered to where there is about 2 inches of travel and then thyy know where the Handle Bars mount! The good news is, at least they stepped out away from what they do and are trying something different. (Well sort of, a Bike with no rear suspension and will not turn left or right very well

And for the money NAPA spent at the chopper parts assembler (can't really call them builders with a straight face) they could have had a championship caliber bike built by a real professional.

I taped it, and finally watched it last night. It was part 1 of 2 part series, so we didn't get to see any drag racing or results yet. The show has lost it's edge and humor, this is the first episode I've seen in about a year. Boring.
