BLINKERS I was visiting my bike at garage ( can´t drive, it´s winter)
and I took the battery away from the body... for charging.
i did not like the systems inside.
What a mess... think if you blow up your
headlight fuse, do you know where it is???
inside the battery tray there is another * box
and inside that there are about four fuses and
some regulators..eh.. nice hiding place )
okay that was not my point....
but when I was leaving the garage
I thougt I should have washed my bike
before I left it *relaxing* I came to an idea
Have you been thinking about the front blinkers
what a great place there is for them...
Have a look inside the headlight cover..there is a nice
place for leds at the uppercorners inside... the area is
propably only black or gray plastic
why not make the blinkers there....???
lines of leds, bright ones and that´s it.

shoulda' coulda' woulda' ...I've been thinking about that area of the headlight since DAY ONE and even mentioned it to DINO once...it'd be an EXPENSIVE $500 experiment if you goof-up, though...seems Kawasaki could've easily made it happen themselves and could've also intergrated the tailight/turn signals like the 2000-2001 VFRs...but they never asked us, huh?...hey, do the motorcycle manufacturers ever listen to leading edge thinkers such as ourselves who actually live with, ride, and work on the bikes for 'ideas' or are we at the mercy of some designer's ego?...hey, just a thought...

...just relax...my dog wants to use only one of your legs...

OK When I have some sparetime
I will search trough some suitable *material*
inside the headlights.... and I'm gonna make it happen
less than $100 )

tapani
ps only one problem...if I'm gonna get the new ZX 2002
I'm not gonna make the blinkers
to this 2000 model....

we put regular blinker bulbs in the corner of the headlight on an R6 a couple of weeks a go and it turned out really well.
