RedElk 636 Master Cylinder on ZX12R
Sherman I know you put a ZX7R master cylinder on your old 12R. How did you mount the resivoir cup to the triple clamp? Or did yours have a bracket right off the master cylinder? The 636 does't have the mounting point on the master cylinder....
Thanks...

No man, I took a little piece of metal and atached one end with the bolt that holds the master c. and the other to the cup.

ZXLNT, I used a universal Nissin master cylinder (LP # 400-27351) that had the reservoir bracket mounting to the "mirror mount" on the brake lever bracket.

I got it mounted the other night. Couple things I had to do were grind off the protrusion next to the banjo bolt hole that keeps the brake lines from moving around. Also had to turn the eyelets on the brake lines about a half turn so they fit flush against the master cylinder. Other than that it was a no brainer. Some new brake fluid and a little bit of time spent bleeding them and it was done. Works great and looks good..

Master cylinder off a ZX7R or ZX9R will work. A Suzuki GSXR will also. Most of them are all Nissin's anyway. Not really that hard to find. At least here they arent

Yes but I mean a radial 19mm nissin pump.
I you put a 16mm then you put almost the same pum as stock.
