OT: Need to find a Canadian 05 Gixxer1k
For a friend...anyone know of or recommend a Canadian dealer that has some of the black 2005 GSXR1000's sitting on their showroom floor. He lives here in Washington state, and the black version of the new Gixxer is a Canadian-only model and we've been having a terrible time finding one. I guess good things do come from Canada.

Check out Blackfoot cycle in Calgary blackfootcycle.com. Their prices are really good and a huge selection. The K5 is in their online specials list at $12,499 Canadian...

A friend got the black one from Blackfoot. Good deal at 12,499 Cdn since other dealers where tgrying to sell the 04 for about the same price.

Called Blackfoot...he said they have tons of standard colors and I'm like there are standard colors everywhere here too. The all-black limited edition he is only getting 2 and only 1 is left, not till end of April. They are marking it up an extra $2500 so that sucked. I dont think any dealer will give the same discount on the limited as the standard colors.

Yup the black 05 is a limited run.
My dealer got 1 and it was presold.

If you are still looking for one, there are two in Edmonton right now.
One is at Argyll Motorsports: 780-435-6811 and is priced at $13,799
the other is at Alberta Cycle: 780-477-3525 and is priced at $14,999, but I'm willing to bet they will be flexible for US cash.....maybe even a rub and tug
