Not me I am hoping to get there by "JUNE" ! I must spend all of my time "NOW" Getting ready for court (Mid May "Finally") and nothing else is as important (Well maybe catching up on the work I am behind on my JOB! more or less, My Bike is ready for testing and I even have a few $$ Now to get soem things done but just no time!

The good news is, once court is over, i should have all of the Time and money (Hopefully) to do everything I have planned to do to go real fast!

VH- Court?

CR- My bike is still at Lee's, so no. This weekend is also the Prostar event in Commerce (Atlanta) which is 30 minutes from my house, so I'm torn as to which event to attend. Either way, I'll be a spectator

You Know, the people that got me infected and then left hardware in my leg and then when I refused to let that same doctor operate on me, they threw me out of the hospital and Peggy and myself had to find new doctor in Baltimore and then go through 5 more operations where they removed 2 inches out of my leg and it took 2 more years to regrow it and I died twice having the operations!

Other than that, they did nothing wrong

Whoa, so I guess if you win the next time we see VH at an event he will have an 18-wheeler, a pit crew of half a dozen hot topless babes, and a stable of identical turbo ZX12s in various colors.

Actually I might be....I gotta trailer, & So. CA is fairly close to the Bay ARea; just being unemployed right now I gotta do it on the cheap. Do you know what entry fees are? Is there camping nearby? I'd have to tent-it...

I tried to join SCTA back in 01'...sent email, left messages. Finally talked to a nice lady in L.A.. She was supposed to send me a "package" or something. However, I never got anything, & they never got back to me so I didn't make Bonneville that year or since.

Do they actually exist?

Do you have a truck to tow the trailer is the question? I usually borrow one.
Need to safety wire your bike, etc. (easy)
In May the race will be two days back to back! El Mirage May 14 and 15
Entry fees are cheap 50 or so but gas thanks to the Neo-Cons and thier buddys saudis is what will get us...going there and back but I could cover that if you have a truck?
Camping right there next to your bike, every one tents it, it is perfect temp at night 70.

Yes they exist but you have to be voted in by members of one of the groups. So they have to meet you in person and then they vote. You would be allowed to race first time as my guest.
Need full leathers, zip together, etc. (I have an extra set)

The Ford GT ran 155 (In 4th gear and off the gas ) The rules limited it to that much

Keith told me that car went 175+ on his final pass and they made him put it on the trailer for breaking the rules.

Now I understand what they are saying about "They Knew they were breaking the Rules"! I was Hoping it could run 175+ (Can you blame him?) How could a Human who bought one of them hold back? You buy them because you CANNOT Hold back!

The stir on the list was about another car that ran 186 on a 150 safety rule, it wasn't the Ford GT, and they were asked to leave. That's 36 over, and if it weren't for Keith being so cool, they could have been permanently banned from future events.

Add to that If they did not enforce the rules, then the Insurance would not be possible and then no Racing!
