twist pliers
Looking to buy a set of safety wire twist pliers.I'm looking for feedback on 6",8",or10".Is it worth the extra money ($75)for a Proto or is the cheaper kind good enough?I even saw a left-handed and right-handed twist. Why would you need a twist in a certain direction? So whats everyone using?

ive always been taught to twist the pigtail in the opposite direction..i think the ones w/ the switch are pretty slick...the smaller ones work well in most applications..
good luck

I bought a $25 set from Cycle Gear 25 years ago & am still using them. No switch, they go clockwise only & have their own built in cutters...
Don't know the brand name, but certainly got my moneys worth....

I've had two pair of the cheap-o's break. If you're gonna be re-wiring on a regular basis, get a good set.
