Poll Question: If you had a friend... ...that sold his only motorcycle (let's say a 6R), and then used the cash to buy an econo car (let's say its an older Subaru wagon), thenwould you feel the need to have an intervention? Or would it be "all good"?
Poll Results: 0 votes (0%) Naw, its all good. The slower the better.
7 votes (88%) Hell no, its intervention time!
1 votes (13%) I would drive him down to the used car lot to buy his Subaru myself!

heh
single guy, warm weather climate, #2
married/single, has kids, only car just died, #3
ya gotta do what ya gotta do...
then again if the person is too scared to ride any more (too many close calls?) then it's actually more dangerous for him to continue to ride, because the concentration won't be there.

I say if he sold it, then his spirit wasn't in it to begin with. Some people can't live without motorcycles, the rest should stay off them.

He's gonna do what he wants, if he don't want a bike he don't need a bike.

I sold my first bike in 2001 (98 YZF600R), and bought a Taurus Station Wagon with the money. At the time, I just wasn't in the right place for it. Glad I'm back though
