I'm fuckin pissed. They said the "ring compressor" that was ordered is on back order till the end of feb.I told them you didn't have to have a ring compressor and i guess they tried but broke some rings.I told the guy i talked to "Thats FUCKED!" looks like i may not have a bike for bike week.

Fuckers......

Yeah Harry, I could tell you were pretty bummed when I talked to you earlier. Hopefully you'll have your bike back in a few weeks.

Hey atleast the Barbie picture made you laugh.

That story is way too fishy. How hard do you have to force the pistons in order to break rings? I wonder what else is gouged and scratched. Not good.

Damn...

I'd be pissed too, hell I might be in jail after the shitfit I'd throw. That scenario would make me question the compentancy of the shop fixing your bike also. Why the hell don't they have a ring compressor to begin with??? Isn't that a fairly common tool for engine builders or repair shops??? Hey SWFT, you got a ring compressor you can loan Harry and his band of bumbling idiots???

Hey Harry, I know this isn't going to deter you from BikeWeek so I'm lookin forward to meeting you and razzin you in person, hell I even get the first round!!

I know what you mean

My bike is in N. Carolina and I'm in fla. I got called back to work and start back tomorrow.I'm looking to buying another 12 SOON ,but not before bike week.
They have one ring compressor but say they need two. When they told me they needed another ring compressor I said to a couple of people that i bet they broke a ring and had to order more. that was confirmed today when I called them.I haven't built a ZX-12 engine but I have other inline 4's.I could do the work myself and wish they had just given me the damn parts so I could do it myself , but unfortunately that's not the way it works.
