Damn, scheduling just changed at work and I could've made it. Even with the 36 hr drive out there. But alas, one other guy already snapped up the week, and he's the only other one whose time cant overlap mine.

about 1/2 way between Monterey & Salinas on Hwy 68. You can find much cheaper motels in Salinas; or perhaps further out (Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Gilroy, San Jose, etc.) All of these are within a half-hour of Laguna-Sega (SJ is ~1.5hr.)
I understand most of the nearby motels have been sold out since last fall- & the rates are up ~25+% for MotoGP weekend. Your welcome to use my floor/sleeping bag (my room-mate's on da couch) if you don't mind the 2.5hr hour drive down there. It's free & I'll feed ya...

...I've been told by a former bikeland.org member that certain parts of Watsonville can be kinda' rough, so watch your back and bike...
