Paint matching

OK..Who out there can color match or knows someone who can color match my 02 Candy Thunder Blue. I have a few scratches in the tank cover, front fender and I want to buy a hugger so I'll need that hit too. Any recommendations? Oh by the way.. I'm Po... The other o and r are on lay away!!

Colormight you mean!! I've tried them a couple of times before...not satisfied, and there paints seems cheap IMO. There was someone on this site who said they could match the hard paints and a few people gave him props on his work.... Thanks for the info though wilson.

no it is color rite and they have exact match paint i have used their paint many times and they are not cheap i got some cosmic splender red for my 2003 ZX12R and it was $150 for a pint

Wilson, He knows who you speak of. If you look at as few pics of my bike, you will see the Color is waay off. No they are not cheap in price, but sometimes in appearance. He is looking for the "Person" that did the Paint work!

Blu, make it easy on you, just send the parts to Crashtech and call it good....when you get them back they will be a perfect match.....he painted my 12, and my 10 already, he has my 600 now, and has painted parts of Rogers 12 and lucky12's bike as well. Not to mention lots of Turbo GPz's and such.....he is very reasonable.......email him or sent him a shout on the board....

hey got a '01 w/ the torn grafics on it..got some minor scratches on both sides..im looking to just send them off and pay somebody to make them like new..the decals will need to be replaced as well...i looked for a website on crashtech but had no luck..if someone has a # on this guy that would be cool..

He and I, along with Roger and a few others will be in Indy this weekend...so you wont hear from him until monday like he said....I am taking my laptop to with us, so he may be albe to check his mail from the hotel...unless its his server mail, dn I think it is...

I am assuming you painted the bike a gold base then the green..
The paint is like a candy style paint(transparent), the more you lay on the darker it gets... Each coats darkens it....



Looks to me like your tail section needed a few more coats to darken up for the match...

Is that stickers and all??????? I got a rightside for mine from my local dealer with all foam pieces for 350 plus tax....

But did not have the 01 stickers..

yea thats oem stuff w/ stickers and all..got new lowers L&R ,front fender, seat cowl and winglets all new from ron ayers..all told it was about 1100 and change...i didnt think that was to bad for factory stuff..
