Swingarm question.
Are all years interchangable? I see the newer ones have a much simpler brace for the shock mount. I've been wanting to pick up a spare and have it powdercoated black.

Yes.... you'll need the appropriate heim joints (dog legs) for the new and older models

so will a 03 fit a 02 with the 02 heim joints? i thought 02 thru 04 used the same joint ?

Sorry Trizz... 00-01 use the same and 02-05 use the same.
02s and newer have slightly longer dog bones.

Thanks Steve. Guess that rules out just piching up a later model black one cheap.
I'll keep it in mind Rick, my bike's down for repairs anyway, and it's been below 0 for a week. May just coat mine while I'm at it.
