Why settle for a plan ole Piega when you can have THIS!

Bore x stroke (mm) 100 mm x 63.6 mm
Compression ratio: 10.8:1
Horsepower: 140 hp @ 9800 rpm
Torque: 73.8 ft. lbs @ 8000 rpm

Front suspension: 43mm Ohlins (Mondial specific valving/spring)
Rear suspension: Ohlins (Mondial specific valving/spring)

Overall width: 39 inches
Seat height: 32.3 inches
Wheelbase: 55.9 inches
Fuel capacity - reserve: 4.8 gallon US - 1.0 gallon US
Dry weight: 392.4 pounds

The Piega EVO "Ziletti" will differ from a standard Piega EVO by having:

3 signatures on the custom autoclaved carbon fiber bodywork, 1 on the tank and 1 on each side of the fairing also the bike will come with a numbered plaque.
Different color scheme that is unique only to the Ziletti Special.
A leather bound package containing a hardcover 'History Of The Piega' book
Mondial pen and service manuals and a certificate of authenticity will be supplied with each motorcycle carrying the signature of the person who built the bike .
A set of stands and a Mondial motorcycle cover.

In October 2005, the new owner will recieve an exclusive trip to the Mondial Moto factory, and an official half day tour given by Ziletti himself followed by a 1.5 day track training event on a Mondial Piega at Monza circuit in Italy. This part of the package will consist of:

A set of made to measure Mondial Race leathers that will be numbered and signed in the same manner as the bike.
A minimum of 1 hour on the track over the 1.5 days including an introduction to track riding given by an experienced rider trainer.
Return flight from anywhere in the world to Milan for 1 person.
Transport to and from the Milan airport.
3 days hotel.
All meals including buffet lunches for the 3 day event.
An exclusive "on the track" photo of each individual rider.
An exclusive Limited Edition Mondial Piega DVD.

The Mondial Piega "Ziletti" will only be available through the Mondial official website beginning November 2004, and will only be a run of 100 motorcycles. The price of this package will be $32,500 USD.

My... how two years can drop a price of a bike, eh?

Interestingly enough, the reason the Mondail has a Honda engine (from the SP-1 Sportster) is because Honda is repaying a almost 50 year old favor Mr. Ziletti did for Honda. Mondial had won several world championships back in the 50's and this was about the same time Honda was first getting into racing. Through a show of kindness, Mr. Ziletti GAVE Honda one of his championship bikes, giving the Honda engineers a head start, per se.
