Ninjaman12R, I understand your concern for his well being. You seem like a decent person who takes responsibility for your actions.

Now for the scary part...

The best possible senario is that he's ok and recovers quickly. Your insurance will pay for his trcuk, his physical damage and loss of income.

The scary part is that he has a head injury - the worst injury you can get in an accident.

The downside, sadly, is that he may not work again, and suffer pain permenantly. He will sue your insurance for it's maximum payout, then go after you for the rest. Could be hundreds of thousands or more. Even if it's only a portion your fault, he'll still sue for way more than your insurance will payout. Even if a jury believes only part of his 'pain and suffering' story, he'll sue for $5M and get $1M.

Get a good lawyer. He will.
