OT: anyone have familiarity with FTP Server setup??
I've loaded Cerberum FTP Server and later I tried GuildFTPd (server also).
I have no problem getting them to work at a basic level, but, I am having problems with limiting a clients ability to go surfing around my harddrive!
Using Microsoft XP Internet Explorer, once you've connected to my FTP server, there's that damn XP browser-level stuff on the left side. (titled "other places" and has links to Internet Explorer, My Documents, Shared Documents and My Network Places)
Durn clients can just click on that browser stuff and go anywhere on my PC if they want! I don't believe I like that!
If I can get this fixed without having to buy software, I can share video more easily with everyone. :-D
Thanks!
