NEW FORMAT SUCKS! ! ! ! !! ! !
thats my opinion and I am sticking to it.
Where in the shitting hell can a person make a post that will be seen by most users? Used to be Bikeland, but now that is divided into many little specialty compartments. IF a person doesn't click on each sub topic inside of Bikeland they won't see a general post  and I am sure there are many that only go to their favorite areas of this now divided up mess.
Only way I can see is post on each topic or have the holy power of an administrator and have your post show up in every topic, whether it is relavent to that topic or not.
Now I will get off my soap box and go take a cold shower. . . .
Oh btw, who is going to the MC Show in Seattle? We meeting at Kawi at ?? o clock?

Go checkout the ZRX board, http://zrxoa.org/forums//index.php?s=e3e928108b2832780b1ef7ef37b29884 Currently there are 52 separate forums if your registered. And it's a ZRX only board, no 12R's, 10R's, Busa's etc. Then again there's 6083 members too.
Got to where I only come to the ZX12Zone for a year or so now. ...and the classifieds (usually about 10 minutes after something juicy came up and sold). And I sure don't need to be lookin at no 10r stuff, na na na, I'm not listning, na na na na, ....must... resist... urge.....

Yeah I dont know where to put a lot of threads for the same reasons Oz.
I will be at the show that Fri and Sat...I thought we were meeting at noon at the Kawi booth. Jafar "the Lurker" will be there too as well as others.

sorry Ozzy.. there once was a time when this place had only 100 members or so... now there's almost 5000 and counting. With the incremental increase in traffic each month we needed to create areas for people to post in. BTW if you visit the homepage regularly it does show you the most recent posts across the entire site. I have to ask you, though.... you only JUST noticed this? It's been months....  ..... and expect more growth.... the site isnt shrinking by any means.

ozzy, a solution to the issue u'r describing is in the works, but it has to wait till i have a fair chunk of time to implement it. basically i need to rewrite the entire board. i agree it's annoying tho.
i should be at seattle btw. geez, that's gotta be comin up soon eh?

I noticed it long long ago, it justs that it took me this long to come up with a worthwhile post to make that is of a multi-thread value.
The top 12 "zones"(for lack of a better term for each area ) starting with News and going right down the line have 173235 total posts as of right now. Only .000791% of those posts were generated in 6 of the zones.
It looks to me like other than the Smack House the other new "zones" have little or no traffic.
Now I will go back to my corner and be quiet again.

that's correct ozzy.. the new "zones" currently have little traffic as they have yet to fill up with new members... just like the 10R section took a while, and even this section...
As the site grows further we will be creating subsections for other brands and their models as well...
and freek has been promising a rewrite of the software for 2 years now, so dont hold yer breath

do you ever visit the homepage Ozzy? perhaps you should try doing that... it does have a very clearly marked "news" section..... and BTW.... I'm sorry you think it "sucks" ... we have had an overwhelming postive response to the changes made to the site and the new format. I guess, once again, we cant please everyone all of the time.

Yes I have visited the front page but see no where to put a post. Guess I am just to stupid to be able to figure out all this new stuff.

you dont post on the front page ozzy.... it shows you (on the right) the 5 most recent posts to the site, regardless of what specific forum they were posted in.
anyways.. too bad you dont like it.. like I said brace yourself for even more ... it ain't gettin' smaller
