transporting motorcycle [help]
anyone know of a good company to use for transporting a m/c from the east coast to the west coast? burt

you can look in a couple of the bike mag's. they have shipping adds. and your going from where to where? maybe someone can trailer it for ya?

go to local dealer & get a surplus shipping "crate" (they toss'em so you should get a deal.)
then there are common bike carriers in all the mags....can't think of one top of me noggin'....:P

I had my bike shipped from Denver Co. to NC by Allied Van Line for 500.00
they are good an that was the best price i could find

Look on the AMA page (you ARE an AMA member, right?) and they have a deal with Federal Transport Co. Door to door. I've used them and some buds of mine have used them. $400 for a shipment from Ohio to Arkansas.

I frequently run trips out west. Depends on were from and where to. If I can find good freight going to the same area from your general location, I'll do it for a beer. Lemme know the details. Oh, this would be on a flatbed, no enclosure.
