Need good shop manual.

My motor is burning oil. I'm going to do a compression check soon but still need a shop manual just to have. More than likely it's the valve guides or seals and the head has to come off. Any additional info to pulling a head(2002 ZX12) that's not in a good manual would be greatly appreciated, I haven't been in a motor in about 9 years, and it was a car.

there is one good piece of information that really helps and is not in the OEM manual at least: roll the motor down in the motor mounts to work on the head, or adjust the valves, etc. It makes a big difference in doing those jobs....mind you I didn't find it that hard to drop the engine out the bottom either...about and hour and it was on the floor.

Makle sure to label ALL the wiring connectors when you tilt the engine forward. Lots of plugs and such to disconnect...
