Air Gap between Pick Up and Rotor
The Crankshaft sensor does have movement and can be adjusted between .010 and .030 range. I have looked in the Manual and even a Honda Manual and both say nothing about the Air Gap? I know that my 1984 "900" mentioned the Air Gap like the Old H series 2- Strokes did!

Thanks I needed that! Just to have no real idea is horrible. Your name was even brought up as being the person that "Would" know. Just removes one more unknown. See you in Ganiesville?

I would think that a smaller gap would effectively advance the timing and a larger gap would retard it as the signal to the ecu would be altered. But it would probably be only a 1 degree variance at best.
