Same topic on different forums

swft mentioned it and my question is WHY? This place seems to be going to shit. You have a lot of members but not many members post. I really don't give a rats ass about same threads on the different forums but it does seem to waste time.

bloody whiners, the lot of ya!

but i'll answer ur question anyway cause i'm just such a ncie guy. alot of people only frequent one forum, or a coupel forums. when u have a topic that relates to more than 1 forum, or any kind of broadcast message we need to get out, we mirror it in multiple forums. when i get the time to rewrite this software i'll design the forums so that's no longer necessary.

FReeeeK does have a point there...I know of many members who only frequent certain parts of the site. lol when I first met wormser77, he was only on the bikeland side and I had to tell him to go check out the 12 side since that was where all the topics seemed to be back in those days.

It's kinda cool watchin the 10R zone take off so dang quick though, especially with the rush of new members. I havent seen that many new members in the 12 side, err at least not compared to the 10 side.

Fish and Freeeeeeek...you two go with your bad selves!

So it was imperative that Freek ask about getting a good fit on a helmet across multiple forums?

I think it is good that some topics gets mirrored but what I find annoying is that this site has too much forums. It was easier when there was different forums for each bike and for general (like Bikeland) but now there are forums for everything but how reads them?

tuusinii... I know exactly what you mean, but the site is growing considerably and we have no choice but to accomodate the growth.... we used to be at 500 members, now we're almost at 5000 members... we're no longer a zx-12r specific, or kawasaki specific site..

And if anyone feels that strongly about how to do it and they are sure they are right....you could always start your own site. Heck with only a few thousand hours of work and God knows how much money you too could be doing it exactly the way you see fit. I get way more value than I have a right to from this site and its members and I bet the same goes for almost all the rest of us. The "background and text color issue" was a fine example of how they respond to reasonable feedback. About the only thing I can say to that is Thanks!

Damn....

To quote one of my favorite negros "Can't we all just get along"?

Wtf??? Are we turning into the bike talk board from labusas? If so, who here is Dirty Pete?

I think we all need to lighten up a little, and yes, I'm listening to my own advice.

Harry, has your vaginal bleeding stopped??? If not take 3 aspirin, insert bale of cotton, and call me when your symptoms change.

I only frequent this forum, & have only been to the other bikeland forums a couple times. I just don't have time for much else, except a couple other local sites, & that's about it...most got another life outside pc's...

But I must say, you guys do a hella job. I ran a DOS based bbs system from 84' til' 93' {running "Genesis"} called "Cafe' Corner" BBS, & it's a thankless job...

Well...here's a thank you & job well done...

& I'll even refrain from a Harry joke....:P

We talk about it at least once a week... you'll know when it happens when you try to come to the site and it's not here.

PS... you cant "quit" if its not a "job"...
