Tribute to Zhooligan...
Said I'd do it...
FINALY getting John's ZX12 motor built...
MTC ProLight 1260 pistons, Falicon SuperCrank, Carrillo Rods, HeavyDuty Cylinder Studs, R&D Nitrous Modded Trans. with BOTH Input and Output Shafts replaced because they were "barely within specs". All Trans. Parts Cryo-ed, Hardened Shift Fork Shafts, NEW Cases (broken gear tried to "window" original cases...and bend in/out shafts), .5MM over Stainless Valves installed with our Custon-Made-Multi-Angle-with-Inside-Radius-included-Seat-Cutters...with seats-ports-manifolds blended...
ANYWAY...
I said I would engrave Zhooligan on the Crankshaft of my KZ Bracket Racing motor when I re-built it so he would get to go
ROUND-n-ROUND and...HAUL ASS!!!
After spending a couple Ks on my ZRX Turbo...I won't have the money for MY motor "this year"...SO...
I engraved Zhooligan into John's SuperCrank
This one is for YOU Zhool!!!
You WILL go 8s @ 165+mph in the 1/4...ready or not!!!

I wasn't lucky enough to have met the man (in person) but...it was obvious to me how people felt about the guy...I miss his posting-s...
It will be a while before I can post the pictures I took of the motor/crank...
CRAZY busy here for me at work...already did 3-maps today and still have another one to do...
THEN I get to clearance Ryan's Bbusa cases for his STRO-ker Crank...
THEN I get to CC the Top-end of the above listed ZX12-60 motor
SHOOOooo...what day...WEEK...

now THAT is creative
we are doing up a gas tank for our forum admin. sorta as a memorial to great guy that was killed up in vancouver by the dreaded left-turning vehicle. (northwest sportbikers club knew him as cyclenerd)
we added a nice quote to the top of the tank, along with the site lettering under the 'yamaha' on the sides. (yeh yeh, it's not a zx12 so sue me ;P )
should be picking it up monday.
it's always cool to see how others pay tribute to great friends and riders that pass along.
Thanks for sharing
