If yer gonna drop the coin go ahead and get the Brembo. I have one on my race bike, and ah, one finger is all you need to get the back wheel in the air and shove yer balls on the tank.

The brembo is 215 dolars from brake tech.
I htink is a good improvment.

Well the first problem is Vesrah crap.
OEM ZX12 pads are HH compound and work best with braided lines with good fluid like Motul.
If you want braking power that wont fade... you're gonna need some EBC rotors or spring for a complete front Brembo or AP Racing setup.

Turbo, my brakes are not fading.
The only complain I have with the versah pads is that when cold they dont work very well.

Most pads that are 'race' pads do not. They need to be warm to work. I've had good luck on the street with EBC, however. Ran HH+ compound. The first stop I had to tug on the lever pretty hard - but after that they were great - as long as they stayed warm.
Do they work well once they are warm?
I'm assuming you have braided steel lines and some really good brake fluid. If not, that's a start. Do those and try it. If you still aren't happy then do the master cylinder. If you still aren't happy then lastly, the rotors.
Once I put in my new pads I didn't notice any fade. I could tell when they were warm, however, because they would 'zing' loudly when I applied the brakes. Kinda liked it.

I have a full Spiegler set up on my 01 R1 - 320mm Rotors, 8 pot calipers, 20mm Master cylinder, lines etc . Works great. I also have the Brembo 20mm on 12R and Hayabusa. What you will notice with the larger master cylinder is caliper flex. I have no with the Spiegler set up, but it is apparent with the stock Tockico set up. 2 cents.

In the brake tech site what pump is that you have???
At the moment the pads work fine when they are hot, but when they are not hot you have to apply a lot of presure.
The presure is not linear with the force applied.
I can make the fornt tire scream if I brake hard with 3 fingers but I whant better response from the brakes.
I have motul dot 4 and lines, anyway I changing to 5.1 motorex , since everyone is telling me that its amazing.

I just got done putting EBC Superbike "Turbo" stainless front rotors on (gold carriers), combined with the Muzzy PF Carbon pads. Looks awesome! As the younger folk say, very "Bling."
So far they feel pretty good. Full report when they get broken in (<100 miles yet.)

sorry to bring this old one up.
But It came to my hands a radial 19mm pump from a 2004 750 gixer and it a real diference in feell of the brakes.!!!
I had to make a cup holder and Im planning to cchange to the small ones that brembo uses for clutch.
I had to dremmel a small piece of metal that touches the SS lines when I brake, 2 finger is only necesary to stop, very nice.
Plan to go with Ferodo XR pads when Versa ones are over.

my brakes are broken in now & I really LOVE the feel of the Muzzys PF Carbon pads. Only thing I don't like is they leave a lot of black brake dust behind after heavy use (twisties), but the combo of the EBC "Turbo" rotors & Carbon pads feels very nice.
I still need SS lines; but it feels so good I may wait awhile until I see a killer deal on some stainless lines. It works damn good now...
