Prostar in Memphis last weekend....
Yep, went to see all the boyz rip up the 1/4 mile last weekend in Memphis. What a blast, had a real good time and picked up a few goodies for Lil' Red. Saw Oldkawboy and his son Chad, always nice to see those guys. I ran into Doug Meyer and quized him about billet baskets , super nice guy. I also saw Horsepower Mike, real glad I got to see him. I haven't talked to him since his accident on the Foothills Parkway. The weather was great and the racing was awesome!!!
The highlight of the event for me was the "Street Kaos". I will definitely be back to see all these hooligans again next year.

Wish i had met you, ninjaman12r. I too saw Chad's flight. That boy has SKILL. Spoke with Doug M. Hung out with HorsepowerMike. Got pointer
for Ricky Gadson. tire info from Richie of Richie tires.
That zx10 was killer in Kaos. ALMOST made me want to trade THE STUD.
Why THE STUD because if you mess with him you're going to get F--KED.

Dude, wish I'd met you as well. Were you the guy standing beside Horsepower Mike (to his left I believe)against the wall during street kaos??? If so, I was right behind you guys standing up on the retaining wall.
I don't know wtf I was thinking when everyone was betting against that 10R that Coby brought. Well, they were at first anyway. I knew that little bike was gonna surprise a few people, and it did. I should have capitalized on that when I had the chance. As of when I left at around 9:30 Saturday night, the little Ninja hadn't been beat. Pretty impressive seeing it spank the turbo busas to say the least. The bike was wicked, but props must be given to the pilot because he was just brutal off the line.

I really don't know what times the 10R that Coby brought ran. In street kaos they don't put the ET or mph on the boards, only a win light to the victor. I think Ryan ran an 8.99 on the 10R is 1000ss. That's haulin'.......

I think you're right about ryan on his stock 10r.
That streched 10 cost me $20 when the
TURBO BUSA got left in the smoke.

Dude, I could have made MUCH LOOT $$$$$$ if I'd only thought about it. I'm sure you heard the term "Busa Killer" after Ryan had layed the smackdown on a few Busas. It was great!!!

Never bet againt the streched 10 , never ever bet against the streched 10,
especially with ryan or the gadson rider aboard.
Only thing i know about that zx9 is NOT to bet against it either.
Kawasaki was all over that KAOS.

70 year old Ray Metzger, Kaw dealer and city councilman, ran a 9.6 with a stock motor , Ti Force pipe , and extended swing arm.
I swear I could hear Larry"Spiderman" Mcbride screaming in his helmet all the way down the track over the exhaust of the Spider bike.

Spiderman ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Spiderman is a crazy mofo to say the least. It's just incredible to watch a spectacle like that. Those bikes just look insane, especially when they are around the 1/8 mile mark. I can't imagine the rush you'd after piloting one of those beast. Awesome stuff for sure.

Rick,
Good to see you in Memphis. enjoyed your company as always.
Chad made a couple passes on the stretched 10 that Coby brought. He rode it Friday before the air-shifter was installed and had trouble foot shifting fifth gear. He ran a 8.79 and 8.81 and was hunting for 5th on both passes. His 1/8th mile time was a 5.65 at 130mph. Coby is THE MAN when it comes to fast bikes. I rode it down the return road for a couple passes and it was a blast!!!!
Chads best pass on the 10 that Chip Ellis has been riding this season was a 9.14, Ryan put Chad out in the second round of the 1000 SS class and he also put Chad out in the finals of the 600 SS class. It's a hoot to watch Ryan make a pass on anything, he's as good as there is anywhere and a fine young man too. He's taught Chad a lot of things and for that, I am grateful.

Hey Dan...
Dan,
It was good to see you as well. I tell you, you've got to be real proud of Chad. He is a very talented rider to say the least.
I bet that 10R WAS a blast. It looked real stout during street kaos for sure.
Broken Wind,
I remember hearing somebody say that. It was an awesome time.
