Im actually in California (Fort Irwin). Is this your first time working on US Army Aircraft? There are probably over 200 (total) at Fort Campbell. Does Dyncorp want you to go over to Iraq? I think Campbell is going to Iraq in the near future. I will be stopping by your neighborhood to drop my 1985 Kaw Turbo off at Mike Chestnut's place (Horsepower Unlimited) for a rebuild sometime in the November time frame... so maybe I will see you then.

Yes it is my first time working on U.S. Army aircraft but I worked on USAF acft for 21 years. Civilian acft. for another 11.

I think you are talking about the Inlet Barrier Filter (IBF) mods.. we just got those here. It's like a big K & N filter mounted on the engine intake. It's supposed to keep out sand.... but it reduces air flow in the engine....
If you decide to go to ICrack... let me know. I have a friend flying over there... and a whole bunch of friends that will be there in time for XMas.
