PCIIIr Problem

Today I was riding my 03 ZX-12. It has a full Muzzys system an a PCIIIr. The bike started sounding like a V-Twin and missing real bad, then it would run good and then bad. I disconnected the PCIIIr and the bike runs fine. Anyone else have this problem???? The bike runs good with out the PCIIIr, can I keep riding it with out the PCIIIr ???? Dose anyone else run theirs without the PCIIIr ???
Thanks

I checked the cable, there is no sign of crushing, pinching or wear at all.

Corrupted map possibly...

Hook your laptop up to the pc3r and view the map. If it has jibberish in any of the columns (?$#@ type junk) the map is toast.

I have seen this before - cause unknown.

I have had two pcIIIr's fail also, the second failure also sounded like a v-twin, probably because an injector was stuck open.

I personally think they are crap, if routing the wires were so frickin important would'nt you think the instructions would be better.

Sorry for the rant..

I've removed the pcIIIr and the bike is screaming just running a full muzzy exhaust, 17t front, k&n filters and the muzzy advancer set to 5 degrees.
