Hey Chan,
I know you've probably grown to love sand and aclimated to dry wind & chapped lips but when are you getting back to OUR humid mosquito-ed version of paradise????
We've been missing yr always smilin' face and fully stocked cooler!!!!

I think Burns was supposed to be back home today. I am going to give him a few days and then go see him.
I just got a call from another of the gunners in my platoon that got hit by an RPG in Aug. Thank God the RPG literally "blew to pieces" instead of exploding. He has a compound fracture on his left arm and a piece of the case cut the tendons to his fingers. It is beginning to heal and I get to go see him at his house, so things are looking up for me here at home.
My gunner that got shol all to hell back in July is down at Ft Hood doing some paperwork, so maybe I will get to see him in the next few days.
Here in a minute when my wife goes to sleep, I am fixin' to slip uo out of here and go tear up than new tire on my bike. Shit, I haven't even got to crank the sucker up yet!! Been kinda busy,,,,,,
