Brought the stock seat back over to my friend, and we swapped out the cf muffler bracket for the ti one. Bike's down to 499 now.

SWFT, you could remove your rear pegs and buy a Dino pipe hanger to save a few more ounces. Or maybe a custom carbon hangar...

Sorry, some old info there. Using the LP CF muffler hanger, passenger pegs are in a pile in the corner of the shop.

I weigh 195lbs. If I lost 50lbs. that would give me 2 tenths for DragRacing!!! Alot cheaper than CarbonFiber Parts, DyMag Rims, lighter Rotors, Airtech body work!!!

The difference is you can gain the weight back! Once off the bike, it is gone!!

Nice job. My porker weighs 530 lbs full wet. Here's how I got there.

Muzzy Stainless 4-2-1 w/Jardine carbon/ti muffler, Targa undertail & fender, Muzzy steering damper kit, reed block offs, fans, Goodridge brake lines, BMC filters, PC3r, mini-stalker turn signals. Removed all smog/air hoses/charcoal cannister, tool pouch, mirrors (track day only), passenger pegs (muffler mount is carbon).

FYI - A Carbon Fiber muffler mount for a Yam R1, bolts on and is perfect replacement for rt side passenger peg for our 12, if you don't want to run the passenger pegs. Just had to open the holes up from 8mm to 10mm.
