Brought the stock seat back over to my friend, and we swapped out the cf muffler bracket for the ti one. Bike's down to 499 now.

SWFT, you could remove your rear pegs and buy a Dino pipe hanger to save a few more ounces. Or maybe a custom carbon hangar...

diet plan '02 Nice board, and nice bikes... hey SWFT the '02 ZX12R is 470 dry! That's before taking off all the #@!()*%# stickers which must weigh 10 pounds.

Sorry, some old info there. Using the LP CF muffler hanger, passenger pegs are in a pile in the corner of the shop. ____________

yeah but that is the CHEAPEST way to lose the weight ...., and I am all about cheap...lol

FYI - A Carbon Fiber muffler mount for a Yam R1, bolts on and is perfect replacement for rt side passenger peg for our 12, if you don't want to run the passenger pegs. Just had to open the holes up from 8mm to 10mm.
