Yes.........the the races are in Indy.......this is from your thread in the 10R forum.....

"That would be the U.S. Nationals my friend. If you've never been to this particular event you are in for a REAL treat! Be SURE to take hearing protection. ( shooting headphones are what I take.....)

The track is very easy to get to. If you get there about 6:00 am you can park right across the little road from the track entrance by the campgrounds. About a 50 ft walk......then it's easy to run back to the car and put all the things you will collect in a safe place........... and do it all over again.......

It is getting there......slowly. Hey myself and Rog have been invited by a customer of mine in atlanta to use his spots in the part unlimited hospitality suite at the race both days. Fuckin A!!!!! free food and drinks including beer! Cant wait. Got to get on the 12 next week if all my goodies come in to get it ready for DG.

I live near there

Howdy,
I live about 3 miles from the drag strip. I am probably not going to the races but have been many times and it is an awesome show. I went to the 3 other little bitty races here this summer (Indy 500, U.S.G.P., and Brickyard 400) at the other racetrack which is 3 miles the other direction from my house, so my budget and tollerence for spectating is somewhat depleted. Another guy from this board (Wildman) also lives near here. I wouldn't mind getting together with some fellow riders and doin some workbench racin or tourguiding, etc? I am sure Wildman would too. Let me know who all is going to be here? You all are welcome to stop in and hang out at my place, or whatever? My email is ninjated@comcast.net
Let me know? Does everyone have a place to stay? Might be able to work something out there too??
Ted
